I’m in Austin! Not Houston but close enough, I guess lol

Do y’all have a hard time with drying issues humidity and temp wise? How do you guys dry and cure in your area?
-
It’s a constant battle for me. That’s why I tend to schedule my grows to harvest in the cooler months. Also I run the lights on at night and off during the day to help with heat. Portable AC units are pretty much a requirement!

Yes. I broke down and purchased a “Cannatrol” dry/cure machine that works with vapor pressure instead of humidity. It was very pricey but it works better than I did and there is no burping. It also completely finishes the process in 8 days. It’s also a good place to store your stash.

Morning @txskipper I also have the cannatrol unit and it is such a nice piece of equipment to have for curing and long term storage….

houston area! i normally, or used to rather, do the dark room and aim for 60/60. thats always a pain in the ass unless you have a tent/room setup for drying, with AC/humidity control etc. You should check out fridge drying. not too complicated, actually not much more complicated than hanging the plant up to dry. theres some awesome information about it, and alot of bad information on the interwebs. only req for it is buying a small frost free fridge(200 or less). It sounds complicated, but its really not

Southeast Houston area.. Just getting started with Auto Buckets, grow Dots, and Recharge. Previously used “drain to waste” system. Switching now and hoping and working for the best.
