All of my plants keep getting the same leaf damage. Can someone help me figure out what it could be. I ph my water and I am useing liquid microbes with ocean forest soil and have been useing 1/3 the recommended fox farm standard liquid neutriant line. I do not water to run off. Gorilla zskittles auto week 5(?) And it is in flower. That is normal… just giving info. After giving a more normal feed/water it is showing the very beginning signs of burnt tips. I need help please and thank you.

Looks like a cal-mag issue. If they were my girls, I would definitely add or increase my cal-mag and continue with reduced maintenance doses after the initial full dose. Hope this helps.

No, this is an issue with pH. Do not supplement calcium as it’s not deficient. Check the run off after next watering to get an idea of where it’s at so you’ll know which way to adjust.

i am useing fox farm ocean forest that is advertised to be Ph’ed at around 6.8. i always PH my water to be around 6.7 or so ( i dont stress exact numbers because its a spectrum), and i also use Fox Farm mycrobes… *hands up* i have not checked runnoff in a while tho…. i try not to run it off because of sanitation concerns.

Salt build up can occur because minerals concentrate during dry backs. With no run off, excess minerals are never rinsed out leading to salts forming and pH tanking.

if i add cal-mag, or if it is a ph issue… if i fix the problem will these leafs heal? or will the damage just not spread further?

did a flush just now… ran 7.0 plain water at 4ppm. it came out 6.65ph with 600-770ppm. guys were saying PH issue due to salt build up from dry backs with no run off… i dont not thing that assursion is accurate based off of my test. so…. cal-mag issue? i cant send off for a soil test because i do not have any to send. i am running ocean forest without any amendments so…

      How are they doing?

I’m just curious, as I really didn’t see that as a ph deal. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t. The last thing I want to do is take a dump on somebody else’s recommendations. I just will not do that. I would bet that your original sense that it might have been a calcium issue was probably pretty darn accurate. So, how did it turn out. Got pics? We can all learn from this. All the Very Best.
