    Test and observe your specific plants.

    I’ve not personally experimented either, but I’ve been reading a little on the subject as thinking of doing it myself. I read at the beginning and at the end, but I never saw anything saying an hour in the middle of the day. My impression was that you are trying to mimic the sounds treats

    Disregard my last post. I went to edit it and somehow it was erased. What my erased message said basically is:<div>

    Use UVB from veg (start at about an hour a day) to late flowering (gradually increase time about 2 hrs a day), but you only want to keep it on for 4-10 minutes per hour. EG you could start uvb in veg 4 mins an hour for 15 hours- total time would be 1 hour; gradually increase, and by late flower you’ll be a at 10 mins an hour for all 12 hours equally 2 hour total time. With IR I’ve always heard you can run through all growth stages- 15 mins before lights come on and 15 mins after lights go off.

    I’ve never actually done myself. But this is the schedule I’ll be using on my first attempt with adding those wavelengths.

    </div>

      So I run IR 15 before and after lights out. For the UV I run 1 hour in middle of light cycle in veg and 2 hours during flower I have had great results
