I think you should harvest your plants while the lights are still on closer to. I guess you know doesn’t really matter too much, but I think it’s best to put it on there whenever the plants doing most of his photosynthesis. That way whenever you chop it, it’s still in photosynthesis mode. Meaning it’s going to be pulling the moisture from inside the plant. Trying to get it from the roots. Just my idea what’s going on. Plus I heard researcher on the Chad video talk about it and I totally agree with him. Think about it. If I chop a plant when it’s dark. Been dark. That plant is usually sending signals to the roots asking to transfer sugars and do that kind of thing when it’s dark. Kind of like sleeping. If you chop it while it’s dark, first of all, the plant’s going to be in all kinds of weird state. Whenever you let it sit in darkness for more than 24 hours because never in nature do we have 48 hours of darkness. A plant that’s doing all of the things it does like producing terpenes maturing going through senescence all these things that are great for the plant. It has to stop them because it’s been put into a situation that’s never been into. So now the plant is not going to signal to do anything to the terpenes or anything like that to try to grow. It’s going to be like dude. I need light. I need light now. It’s going to start panicking and going to a totally different hormonal state. That’s just the way I feel like the plant operates. It’s kind of like we say when we lollipop we take off the branches from the bottom to give more energy to the top branches. Well yeah that makes sense. Why would the plant go? You know what let me produce more terpenes and everything else in the last 48 hours when it’s dark when usually darkness is not the time that’s making them want to produce those anyway because they produce them to protect themselves from the sunlight in most cases. Anyway, that’s my opinion because if you harvest them when still sign or light out your lights on then it’s going to be in the middle of doing its whole. Photosynthesis probably freeze it in that state in my opinion. Sorry for the long response
